Burma news ...
Thanks to your continuous donations, the Kids of Myanmar onsite team are still able to provide aid & support, reaching villages of the Delta that remain very much in need. There are unfortuantely many areas that have recieved very little aid since Cyclone Nargis hit on May 2nd ... little and not enough. The Kids of Myanmar team are doing their very best to help alleviate what we can in these awful circumstances. Please find attached our June 6th Report in English ... we are expecting to receive another report from the June 13th Aid Trip very soon !
Good news is; the restoration of the school at Mi Chaung Yoke village at Kyaiklat town, has already succesfully started. More news and photos from this restoration to follow. For more recent photographs from our aid trips to the Delta during June, please click on the start command, on the picture at the top, on the right of this text. The school inKyaiklat now has a new roof and is ready to receive the 250 children once again. It cost only $ 1.400 to complete ... mission accomplished ! We are working on new projects in 2 villages to rebuild their schools. These schools have been completely wiped out. Kids of Myanmar are ever present in the Delta and working hard.
